There are 4 cards on a table. Each has a number on one side and a letter on the other. The cards show A,B,1 and 2. Which 2 cards would you turn over to test the rule that "All cards with a vowel on one side have an even number on the other"

PROBLEM # 1
If  the base of a ladder is 5' from the wall, its top touches the wall at a height of 12'. At what height does the ladder touch the wall if the base is 6.5' from the wall?

SOLUTION 1
11.25'. 

PROBLEM #2

A hemisphere of radius 1 is made of a material whose density at a particular location  = h, the height of the location. What is the mass of the hemisphere?

SOLUTION 2
pi/4.
