Mona Kumar is sponsoring the Boston South Asian Film festival for the second year at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA. The festival will feature the following films:

Friday April 15  at 8:00 pm
Life! Camera Action - Directed by Rohit Gupta

Saturday  April 16 at 7:30 pm
Walkaway - directed by Shailja Gupta (no relations to Rohit)

Sunday April 17 at 4:10 pm
Bicycle Bride - directed by Dr Hassan Zee

The mission of the festival is to showcase films from the south Asian Diaspora whether it's Pakistani, Bangladeshi or Indian which is pre-screenedfor the Boston audience before it hits the distributors. Last year, the festival showcased Today's Special which is an American New York based film directed by an American David Kaplan with an Indian cast.

Mona Kumar's passions are films as well as fashion. She is interested in contemporary films, dealing with contemporary issues.
