Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor who were shooting in New Delhi for Agent Vinod were approached to appear for a channel interview along with Sharmila Tagore and Soha Ali Khan.  Saif's mom and sis were promoting their film Life Goes On.  Though they appeared keen initially, later the couple were not to be seen.

Salman Khan returned home from Panvel early on Wednesday morning to throw an impromptu cricket party for friends and family at a restobar in Bandra. This despite acknowledging that he does not follow the game as actively as the rest of B-Town. In fact, the actor was supposed to be far keener on pumping iron while at his Panvel farmhouse.  Says a source, "He suddenly organised the bash considering he's never been much interested in cricket before. May be he heard Shah Rukh was having a party and wanted to counter that. Normally, Sallu has his parties at home but the space at the restobar is bigger and he had invited lots of people. So, he couldn't have it at home."

Interestingly the principal actors and the director, not to mention the film’s producer, all need to get themselves and their screen images out of the depressive zone.  Anurag Basu’s last film Kites was not only a boxoffice turkey it also showed the lead pair commiting suicide at the end of the film. Audiences rejected Anurag’s dirgeful dedication to that thing they call love.

India's crushing defeat of Pakistan in the World Cup cricket match in Mohali Wednesday brought cheer to Bollywood.
