PARESH RAWAL BACK IN BOSTON FOR A THIRD TIME

In September 2010 Paresh Rawal’s new Hindi drama “Krishan v/s Kanhaiya”, a non-stop laughing riot which also delivered a beautiful message, received an overwhelming response from the Bostonians. We had two SOLD out shows back to back on the same day. It is a story of an atheist who incurs huge losses when his antique shop is destroyed by an earthquake.  When Insurance Company refuses to honor his claim CALLING IT a loss due to ‘Act of God’ he decides to sue God in the court of law to claim his money. The story revolves around the fight of the atheist with the Almighty.

A funny and riveting play that raises serious social questions in turn creating a lot of funny moments. The critics as well as audience are calling it hilariously entertaining and sensationally shocking, a best play that they have seen in a long time. Rawal, who has always been a favorite with Indian American audiences, is once again superb. The audience reviewed the play with glorious statements such as “do not miss the hilarious comedy play”, “Bollywood star Paresh Rawal, the King of comedy, conquers the stage”, “Those who could not see this play, will MISS OUT”.

Along with the ever-versatile Paresh Rawal is his team of talented TV and stage artists including Jimit Trivedi, Chirag Vora, Ankit trivedi, Namrata Pathak, Puja Gupta, Pradeep Vengurlekar, Saunil Daru, Vaibhav Binivale, Kunal Ravrani and others. The troupe performed 51 shows in 53 days back in August-September 2010.  This tour they plan to perform another 30+ shows in as many days all across USA and Canada. Rawal had staged two comic capers Shaadi@Barbaadi.com and Naughty@Forty over five years ago in various parts of the US and other countries.

Paresh says that “I love to perform in the United States of America and now I have the chance to make you laugh nonstop. But remember, it’s not mindless comedy.” Eshani Shah of Dhoom Entertainment announces a third (last) show of the Drama on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 5:30 pm.  The show is at Reading Memorial High School Auditorium, 62 Oakland Road in Reading MA.  Book your tickets today as it has already starting to fill up.
