Our Voice And Yours

Lokvani Team

Dear Colleagues,

We have some very exciting and timely news about our federal government.

For the first time ever, the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders is releasing government agency plans online for public comment and feedback. The open comment period is open to everyone and aims to increase the access of the AAPI community and all minority groups to the administration.

For everyone, here's how you can tell the White House what YOU think:

View the government agencies' plans and send your comments or feedback to: whiaapiplans@ed.gov. Please be sure to let them know which agency plan upon which you are commenting.

This is the timely part of this note… you need to take action now!

The deadline for eleven federal agencies' plans is February 17. The deadline for two other plans is Saturday, Feb. 26.

More government agencies will release their 2011 plans online for public comments on a rolling basis through the end of February. Check in with New America Media 9 NAM) to find out when the next government plans will be released. The webpage will have that updated information on it.
