Bollywood Item numbers Munni and Sheila: Put under scanner by social activist. The popular Bollywood item numbers that have taken up the nation by a storm, 'Munni Badnaam Hui' and 'Sheila Ki Jawani', have come under the scanner as social activist Nutan Thakur has filed a petition on December 23rd 2010 at the Allahabad High court demanding an immediate ban on the two numbers due to the indecent content and lack of morality. The petition was filed with a supplementary petition citing that since there has been a sudden rise in incidents of eve teasing, mental harassment and even molestation especially to women who have the name Sheila or Munni, there should be some action taken up by the concerned authorities in the matter.

It is a known fact that filmmaker Karan Johar is interested in costume designing and the latest to take his services is Aamir Khan. The star will be wearing a KJo-designed outfit for his nephew Imran Khan's wedding with Avantika Malik. "Karan has designed clothes for Aamir and his son Junaid. He has designed a traditional as well as a formal suit for the wedding functions, " said a source. Not just Aamir, the filmmaker has also been acting as a mentor to the bride-to-be, Avantika Malik. Karan has helped Avantika plan the entire wedding from clothes, jewellery, make-up to card designs.

After much speculation, debate and controversy, the film Dream Sequence, to be produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, has been put on hold. Says a source, "Right from day one, Dream Sequence (Jaagte Raho) was ridden with problems. Initially, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone were to play the lead but first Saif and later Deepika distanced themselves from the project. At one point, Abhay Deol was to fill in for SAK, who then showed a renewed interest in doing the part, and then had second thoughts for the second time."
