The Silk Road Gala 2010 is an annual fund raising benefit for the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at InterContinental Boston, featuring star chef Ming Tsai, host of public television's Simply Ming, chef/owner of Blue Ginger Restaurant, and cookbook author, as this year’s Gala Chair. Other local celebrity chefs joining Tsai, are Joanne Chang of Myers + Chang and Flour Bakery + Café, Jody Adams of Rialto, Cambridge, Ting San of Oishii Boston, Michael Schlow of Via Matta, Radius and Alta Strada, Jasper White of Summer Shack, and Patricia Yeo of Ginger Park along with Executive Chef Didier Montarou and Chef de Cuisine David Chinta of InterContinental Boston.

The program will feature a mini “Iron Chef” recreation, with a gentle competition between chefs, and Ming Tsai filling the role of “Mr. Chairman.”

ATASK offers:

Housing in our emergency shelter
