MySkylark.com Aims To Revolutionize The Internet

Press Release
08/18/2010

Greater Boston teens gear up to launch their business a couple weeks before they head back to school.

The internet has grown to house over 55 billion web pages since its birth only a
few decades ago. It offers a world of information and applications to people all around the globe. Right now, someone is using the internet to watch videos on YouTube, connect with friends on Facebook, chat on AIM, listen to their favorite music, follow a celebrity on Twitter, and do a whole lot more. There are almost too many things to keep track of.

That is where MySkylark.com comes in. MySkylark.com personalizes and filters the internet in order to eliminate chaos. MySkylark.com users will be able to access all of their daily internet needs through one secure login.

MySkylark.com was born in 2007 during the 2nd Annual Tie Young Entrepreneurs Business Plan and Presentation competition. The MySkylark team won the competition and a $10,000 prize. In the summer of 2009 three of the original team members, Mohini Srivastav, Kyle Kahveci, and Allison Casey decided it was time to get the ball rolling. Along the way graphic designer Chiraag Lathia and programmer Naman Bharadwaj joined the team. After a year of hard work, MySkylark.com Beta will go live on August 28th.
