As the Boston Celtics battled the Philadelphia 76ers on November 25th, the India Society of Worcester (ISW) started a new chapter in the cooperation between the Indian community and the Boston Celtics by organizing the ISW Day at the Garden.

Over 250 members of our community attended the Celtics game on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The Celtics presented special recognition to ISW and the pregame show had Mitali Biswas and her team of dancers present a couple of Bollywood numbers including Jai ho. The whole event was made possible due to the tireless effort of ISW President - Ragini Seth, who just two months ago had organized a simlar ISW day with the Red Sox.

And with the Celtics defeating the 76ers, it was a win-win for every one involved.
