The first is the relationship ! between the humans and the environment and the ways in which ecology shaped Indian society. The second is the relationship between the community and the territory and how that has been both an integral element in Indian society and how it has evolved over the millennia. The third is the relationship between the Indian subcontinent and the larger world in terms of trade, commerce and cultural exchange. The lecture is free and everyone is cordially invited.
