This "Final Fall Bloom" photograph was taken on Plum Island, MA.  Plum Island is truly a hidden gem within Massachusetts.  It is a small barrier island just off the extreme northeast coast of Massachusetts, and is part of Newbury, Newburyport, Rowley, and Ipswich. The island is named for the hundreds of beach-plum bushes growing everywhere.  If you've never been, it's a must-see!
