Asin has asked her producer Vipul Shah to kick off the promotions of her second film, London Dreams. The actress,  who made her debut last year with Ghajini, was kept under wraps till the last leg of the film's publicity and she felt she suffered due to that. She doesn't want to repeat the experience. In Ghajini, she was debuting, therefore unimportant in the scheme of things. The film had Aamir Khan, who is available to the media only around the release of his films, so they made the most of it.

Soha Ali Khan turned up with beau Kunal Khemu at Salman's younger sister Arpita Khan's special preview of Wanted at Ketnav theatre. The special show was attended by Yuvraj Singh, Arjun Kapoor, and close friends of Arpita. Both Soha and Kunal are close friends of Arpita and were her guests at her Sallu bhaiyya's film trial. Says an eye-witness, "Soha and Kunal came in holding hands and took up seats in the last row. Half an hour after half the lights dimmed, the couple began getting cosy with each other, distracting people sitting around them. There was also some giggles emanating from near them, and this made people sitting ahead of them, turn around to see what the commotion was about." According to the eye-witness, during the interval, hostess Arpita requested the couple to take it down a notch, as people were getting disturbed.

Apparently, Ranbir Kapoor is choosy when it comes to following his co-stars in tinsel town.   Ranbir is keeping up with his fans on social networking site Twitter, and is also following some B-Town celebs on Twitter. But what is taking everyone by surprise is- he has not yet followed his ladylove Deepika Padukone who has been twittering much before he started! The privileged celebs that are on Ranbir’s mind- Mallika Sherawat, Preity Zinta and Sonam Kapoor. Yes! You read it right, he has given a miss to his ladylove Deepika! On the other hand, Deepika does keep a track on her sweetheart, as she very much follows Ranbir on Twitter.

Priyanka Chopra is mulling on the idea of buying herself a sports car. The actress has been shopping around for a two- door sports car. The actress has shortlisted three.  A source close to the actress reveals, "She has shortlisted three sports cars. Whatever her choice, it will be an imported model. She has yet to zero down on the make and the model of the car."  Before she left for her holiday to Indonesia and Thailand, PC spoke to her friends and colleagues about the models she had liked. Now that she is back, she will close the deal shortly.  Adds the source, "She always wanted to own a sports car. But her recent trips abroad made the longing more urgent. Earlier, she was in two minds considering the roads and traffic in the city, but now she is keen on buying one after driving a few of them. She personally owns a Mercedes S Class and had an E Class too. She has also had a test drive with the sports car of the same brand." Priyanka's dad Dr Chopra says, "Priyanka is fond of sports cars but for now, we haven't bought any."

Akshay Kumar took everyone by surprise when he jumped out of his car and sprinted through London when he found himself stuck in a traffic jam. The actor was there for the shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala's House Full. One day, after pack-up from East London, the crew and Akki - with his trainer Jennifer - were travelling back to his apartment in Central London. They were about eight miles away and stuck in traffic, when she challenged him to beat traffic and reach before the unit; Akshay did just that.  Akshay admits, "Yes, Jennifer challenged me to run the rest of the way home and see if we could beat the car! Then my driver laid a bet saying that they would reach the hotel before them, so the bet was on.  She and I started running at 10.30 at night and passed all the other cars with my co-stars (Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal  and Lara Dutta), the producer (Sajid Nadiadwala) and director (Sajid Khan) sitting in them." Since there are several Hindi movie buffs in London - Indians, Arabs and Asians - and he was soon recognised and had people running after him. He laughs, "Guys were running after me trying to figure out if it was really me.  I heard them shout out aloud, 'Is he Akshay Kumar?' By the time I reached my hotel it was almost like half an Indian army was running behind me. I was excited, thrilled and exhausted too by the time I reached the hotel!"
