Vedanta is a spiritual science based on the wisdom of the Upanishads, and the philosophical principles underlying the major religions of the world. Vedanta guides the unfoldment of spiritual potential; it is often described as the art of living or the science of life.

This spectacular new Center will have a 350 seat auditorium, a meditation hall with a soaring 30 foot high ceiling, 14 classrooms, and a temple to the deity Hanuman, also called Maruti, symbol of selfless service.

The Center will have cultural programs teaching Indian vocal and instrumental music, dance, and Indian languages. The children and youth program, called Bala Vihar, will provide valuesbased education founded on Indian spiritual and cultural traditions.

The programs at the Center, particularly the Vedanta, meditation and cultural programs, are for people of all faiths and backgrounds, not just for the Indian community.

With over 300 centers world-wide, the mission of Chinmaya Mission is to provide individuals, from any background, the wisdom of Vedanta and the practical means for spiritual growth and happiness, enabling them to become positive contributors to society.
