Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto has spoken for the first time about her friendship with co-star Dev Patel saying it has become stronger. The pair have been seen cuddling up in Israel and were also spotted shopping for a ring in London since the Oscar-winning film was released. Freida, 24, has now called 19-year-old Dev “a lovely boy”. "The friendship blossomed after the film, it got even stronger. This is all new to us," she added.

The  ‘authorized biography’ on A R Rahman entitled A R Rahman: The Musical Storm has kicked up a storm even before its release. An obvious attempt to cash in on Rahman’s heightened popularity after the Oscars the book has been widely hyped and marketed as the “first authorized biography” on the “Mozart of Madras.”   “It’s a non-authorized biography .The news that it’s an authorized biography is wrong” Says Rahman. “Though Rahman is completely oblivious to the outside world and doesn’t try to understand the commercial aspects of his superstardom he isn’t oblivious to the ‘Cash In On Rahman’ factory that flourishes far and wide. Rahman didn’t like the way the song Jai ho was flaunted as an electoral signature tune either” says a close friend of Rahman. As far as a biography is concerned Rahman has plans to write his own story. So the question of authorizing a biography doesn’t arise.

Celina Jaitley has been receiving many calls and good wishes from her fans and media. It was the reason of false report of her birthday that was published in newspaper and aired on radio and television. The actress was mystified as it wasn’t her birthday. Celina is currently out of the country but wanted to clear the air and thus she has sent a special message to the media. "I have been receiving birthday wishes from fans and well-wishers, but I'd just like to clarify that it's not my birthday today but on the 24th November. I’m not sure why people believe it to be today especially on radio and television channels. However I'd like to say a thank you to everyone who's been kind enough to wish me."

BOLLYWOOD IN POSTERS is the first book that showcases posters of all the classics of Hindi cinema spanning eight decades, along with their credits and famous songs, besides interesting anecdotes. S.M.M. Ausaja is a film historian and a Hindi cinema memorabilia collector with a personal archive.

The bride (Rani Padmini) and the groom (Rana Ratan Singh) are dressed in Neeta Lulla’s creations; the jewelery worn by Tejaswini is created by Nitin Desai along with PN Jewelers in real gold, embellished with kundan and worth close to Rs. 2 crore nearly.

Debutante Tejaswini completely looks the part of a young princess in the gold outfit and wearing five gold kadas (bangles) weighing close to 180 grams and three neck pieces weighing more than 400 gms. “The wedding costume is around 12 to 13 lakhs. My dear friend Neeta has helped me a lot in this and I am grateful to her for the same. These jeweleries are specially made in one of the shop in Pune, ” he concludes.  When asked the Producer Nitin Chandrakant Desai on the big wedding sequence, he said “Indian history is gorgeous architecturally, we studied the culture and researched on the subject and wanted to maintain the scale and richness of a real Royal wedding.”

Aamir Khan is going to be third time lucky. We hear that the perfectionist star's wife is three months pregnant. Kiran was recently admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai for fever, where it was discovered. Sources at the hospital, where she is consulting a doctor for her pregnancy, reveal that Rao was admitted on May 31 for fever. "She was admitted to the fourth floor of the old hospital building. She was in the hospital for a week, "  on the condition of anonymity. "During the hospitalization, Aamir would visit her everyday.  During the week-long hospitalization, the cause for fever could not be diagnosed, but it was treated. At the time of discharge, the pregnancy was normal and there was no reason to worry," he added. Aamir was earlier married to Reena Dutta and has two children with her Junaid 16 and Ira 11. He married Kiran on December 28, 2005, after he divorced Dutta in December 2002.

The sensuous actress of Delhi-6 is all set to perform on IIFA Awards in Macau. She will be shaking her leg on the song Masakali. All the preparation for the same has been done.  While giving an interview to a news channel, she said, “I am nervous and excited to perform on stage.” When asked of with whom she will be performing the actress chirped that, “Well that’s a surprise and you need to wait and watch.”

Well it was recently reported that Shahid has opted out from performing a song with PC from their upcoming film ‘Kaminey’ in IIFA Awards.The handsome hunk is busy with his commitment of Ken Ghosh flick. On the other side the vivacious actress is busy shooting in Singapore for Yash Raj movie Pyar Impossible.“Priyanka was very eager to perform on the song from Kaminey but due to her prior commitments to Yash Raj, she won’t be performing this year,” says a person close to Priyanka. It was also reported that PC will be giving a miss to the Awards. “Well she was but then she decided to attend the function and return back to her shoot later. She doesn’t have time to rehearse and perform but will be attending the awards.”
