The writing was on the wall for Salman Khan since rumors of both Salman's and Katrina's relationships with the likes of Asin and Ranbir Kapoor have made headlines for the last few months. Recently when Salman popped the question to Katrina she declined it politely, saying she has a flourishing career to look after. A declined marriage proposal of course wouldn’t go down well with the moody Salman, who has begun to shut Katrina out of his life. . To everyone’s surprise, he threw one by one all Katrina’s belongings from his apartment before leaving for London for ‘Veer’. In the initial stage of her career, Kat used to visit Sallu’s house very often and had put up lots of her belongings there. And now when Katrina has repeatedly broken Salman’s heart, he decided to thrown her out from his memories. .Katrina who is currently riding high on a popularity wave with promising projects like Ajab Prem Ki Ghajab Kahani, De Dana Dan and Rajniti is more keen to concentrate on her career. .They started dating in 2004, shortly after Katrina moved to India to pursue her Bollywood career. Salman pushed her a lot, and used all his contacts and goodwill to make sure she got roles.

Tabloids are replete with Sonam Kapoor's growing affection for MTV VJ Cyrus Sahukar, who played Suresh, the sleazy photographer in Delhi-6. Some of the reports are even claiming that they are now seeing each other.  The two will also appear together Ayesha, the Bollywood adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic Emma. Daddy dear Anil Kapoor is producing the film. However, Sahukar who has been shooting for a reality show in Pune for the last 15 days insists he doesn’t have time to breathe, is flummoxed at reportssuggesting he’s been spending a lot of time with Sonam of late and that they are a couple. Says Cyrus, “I’ve been shooting round the clock. Where’s the time? I’m friends with the entire cast of Delhi-6, so we do hang out occasionally.” Sonam has already rubbished the report. As for Cyrus, he finds it strange and a little disrespectful. “It’s not worth talking about. A lot of diseases are springing up every day. This must be an offset of a new-found disease. I think people are just hallucinating. I must laud their imagination, though. They should write comedy,” quips Cyrus.

Sonali Bendre has been off films for a while but is still connected to Bollywood, thanks to TV and producer/director Goldie Behl. She’s close to the Bachchans as Goldie happens to be a chum of Abhishek Bachchan. The friendship with Bachchan Jr. is still quite strong, despite the fact that both the movies these two did together- 'Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai' and 'Drona' turned out to be superflops.  Sonali who's rocking as a mum too now considers her contemporary for some years in the industry and who she starred with in 'Humara Dil Aapke Pas Hai' many years ago-Aishwarya Rai family. She’s said: "Aishwarya is family. She is Abhishek's wife and will always be extremely special. Like I keep telling her that she is extremely sweet but for us she will always be Abhishek's wife who is so dear and I think she is very happy to accept that."

Bollywood sisters Karisma and Kareena Kapoor will kick off the second season of Salman Khan-hosted quiz show "Dus Ka Dum", which will go on air Saturday on Sony channel. According to a source from the unit, on the show Salman points out the contrast between Karisma and Kareena's personalities. "Salman said, 'If Karisma was not an actress she would have been a nun', " said the source in a press statement. While Karisma teamed up with Salman in films like "Andaaz Apna Apna", "Jeet", "Dulhan Hum Le Jaayenge" apart from others, Kareena did "Kyon Ki..." with him and their next film together is "Mr. & Mrs.Khanna".

Now his son Puneet who’s been trying to make movies for years has decided to wake up and carry forward the late filmmaker's legacy by remaking the 70s blockbuster. Not a bad idea at all, since all his original ideas have not clicked. The film is supposed to go on the floors by the end of this year. A close friend of the Mehra family said, "It came as a surprise when Puneet decided to remake the Amitabh Bachchan -Vinod Khanna starrer ‘Hera Pheri’. He believes that the remake of the film is a viable proposition." Puneet added, "We miss our father very much. We didn't expect his end to come so soon. He had a lung infection, which unfortunately spread into his blood."
