Hrithik is soon going to shoot a special song and dance number for his home production Kites. Though the shoot of the film is over, this is a special number which shall be used extensively to promote the film in India and abroad where it is also going to be released in its English version. For this song, Hrithik is keen on sporting a long hair look. He is playing a Salsa dance instructor in the film and feels this look may be apt for the dance number. But Hrithik is smartly hiding his growing locks by tying all his hair behind and not leaving it open like a typical pony tail the way Big B and SRK did when they sported the same.

Within 20 days of the announcement of the unique reality show "Rakhi Ka Swayamwar", expected to go on air next month, a huge number of men have sent their profiles to woo Rakhi. The item girl-turned-actress, who has mostly hit headlines for her outspoken ways, is overwhelmed with the response. "I want to thank everybody for their continued support. This huge response has proved to everybody that my 'swayamvara' and 'shaadi' (wedding) is not a joke. My only wish is to find a person who will always be my support system and will respect me for what I am, " Rakhi said in a press release. Rakhi had shocked one and all when when she had announced that she would choose a groom for herself through a Rakhi Sawantreality TV show.

Emraan Hashmi was in a for a shock when he received a call from his bank HSBC about some heavy-duty transactions made on his credit card on April 26th and 27th.The transactions amounted to nearly Rs. 2 lakh and a stunned Hashmi had no choice but to lodge a police complaint. Apparently around 11 transactions were done on the above mentioned 2 dates and strangely Emraan had himself done none of them. Most of these transactions were for purchase of airline tickets said the bank authorities. While the police are yet to figure out the person behind this crime, Emraan is surely not amused one bit. In fact the actor is very upset with this whole incident and wants the miscreant to be caught and punished as soon as possible.

Not many may be aware that Namrata Shirodkar has been married to Telugu super star Mahesh Babu. There have been recent reports about Namrata’s  marriage going through troubled times and was on the verge of break up. But sources have revealed there is nothing like that now. There was buzz that Namrata had for last few months flown back to her Mumbai home from Hyderabad with their son. Mahesh Babu was therefore making frequent trips between Mumbai-Hyderabad so that he could get as much time he could to spend with his son. Rumors were strong that Namrata had left for Mumbai because there were problems in their marriage. But it seems alls well now and he has succeeded in placating her.When she went down South to do a film opposite Mahesh Babu, they both fell in love and it resulted in marriage. Mahesh Babu’s super hit film Pokkiri is being remade in Hindi as Wanted and it stars Salman Khan playing the role made famous by Mahesh Babu who is also fondly called as Prince.

Renowned Bollywood actor/director Feroz Khan died of cancer on Monday, April 29, 2009.  Khan, 69, died at his farmhouse in Bangalore at 1:30am after battling cancer for a year. He made his debut as a supporting actor in 1960 with Didi while his hit films include Qurbani, Janbaaz and Arzoo. His film Aadmi Aur Insaan won him his first Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1969.Khan turned producer/director with Dharmaatma, his first blockbuster hit as a producer, director and actor. He launched his son Fardeen in Prem Agan in 1998. Khan returned to acting after 11 years in 2003 with Janasheen.  Lokvani condoles the death of Feroz Khan
