Chowmahalla palace consists of a group of palaces built by successive Nizams. Each palace was used for a specific purpose. Chowmahalla palace was built in 1750 by the Nizam Salabat Jung. Chowmahalla Palace was the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty where the Nizams entertained their official guests and royal visitors.
