Durga Zali Gauri is a simple story of an adolescent princess and how she turns from a feisty Durga into a compassionate Gauri. Penned by Shri. Madhav Sakhardande, synthesized by the music of Shank-Neel, this musical showcases the journey of her life and how she learns to appreciate the value of hard labor. The original production was released 25 years back by Avishkar Chandrashala. NEMM is proud to present a rendition, featuring 70 plus local artistes performing to the tune of local choreographers and adorning costumes designed by our very own New Englanders.
