Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balam team up in Kismat Konnection which promises to be a sweet romantic fare. With Pritam giving the music and lyrics by Sayeed Qadri and Shabbir Ahmed, one can expect great things. The track does not disappoint.

The album is exciting from the very first track where Neeraj Sridhar sings Shabbir Ahmed's lyrics. 'Aai Paapi (Tu Hai Meri Soniye) ' 'Aai Paapi' is the title song with the words 'Kismat Konnection' making an intermittent
appearance. The English lyrics sung with a Jamaican accent adds an interesting touch to the song.  The music quite wants you to hit the dance floor and promises to be a chart buster. When it reappears in the 'remix version', 'Aai Paapi' with  the overall club feel of the song, this number promises to be a hit.

'Bakhuda Tumhi Ho' brings together Atif Aslam and Pritam once again after 'Pehli Nazar Mein' [Race] is a  beautiful melody. Written by Sayeed Quadri, the number has Alka Yagnik pairing as Aslam's co-singer even though she comes only mid-way into the song. Even though it follows a really rocking track, it does not dissappoint. The remix comes with slightly different beats and rendition adds on to the effect and makes for an enjoyable number.

Shaan, Hard Kaur and Akruti Kakkar coming together for the next 'Move Your Body Now', you know what to expect. Due to the coming together of varied styles of a diverse set of singers the song is very happening.
With fast paced beats keeping the tempo high for this yet another dance number which fuses Western and Punjabi style well, 'Move Your Body Now' is another potential hit on the dance floor.Later in the album, Adeel replaces Shaan for the second version of the song while ensuring that he too keeps the momentum on for the album. The remix also does not dissappoint.

After all the rollicking numbers we now encounter a queit and romantic melody  'Is This Love (Kahin Na Laage) ' which is written by Sayeed Quadri. Shreya Ghoshal is the star of this number and is  accompanied by Mohit
Chouhan who sung a beautiful 'Tum Se Hi' for Pritam last year in Jab We Met. One is surprised to see a remix version of this song but it turns out to be fine.

Seeing Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan rendering the next track one has high expectations! Unfortunately while they are good the music 'Soniye Ve (Dhak Dhak Dhak) 'dissppoints for it is an old and tired tune. The remix
version also does nothing for the track.

So overall a great album! We await the film with great anticipation.
