“CONFLUENCE: A Festival of Hopeâ€:
an upcoming festival sponsored by Brahma Kumaris at Keefe Technical School
in Framingham, MA on Saturday, June 21st from 4:00 to
7:30pm ********** Please join us on Saturday, June 21,
2008 from 4:00 – 7:30 pm for “Confluence – A Festival of
Hopeâ€. This unique festival will provide an afternoon filled with dance,
music, theater, words of inspiration, as well as other exhibits and activities
for kids. It will take place at Keefe Technical School in Framingham, MA.
This event is part of a
series of programs called Roots and Wings, intended to revisit the
origins of the 'soul' of India and its people. People from all cultures
are experiencing an exciting but challenging shift in awareness – from the
material level towards a deeper spiritual understanding of our world.
Confluence: A Festival of Hope brings together the Indian
community with those who have an interest in its fascinating and colorful
culture. It utilizes two of India's greatest gifts to the world – classical
dance and spiritual knowledge – to explore the confluence of our modern life
with ancient spiritual truths. During the festival, you will be guided on this
journey through dance performance, mono acting, words of inspiration and
meditation. The event will begin at 4:00 pm with
various exhibits as well as fun activities for children. Stage performances and
talks will take place from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, all based on the theme of the
confluence of Indian culture and spiritual wisdom. The event will end with a
