Sonam Kapoor feels much relieved and happy that Aditya Chopra has finally found a girl opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rab De Bana Di Jodi. "Since the film was announced speculation started about me being in the project. Arrey baba, I was never offered the film! I don't know where this whole thing started, honestly. I did visit Adi a couple of times like any other actor. But not for any particular role. Maybe people saw me entering Yashraj. Nowadays even if an actress passes by Yashraj she's rumored to have signed a film with them." But the girl Anushka Sharma who has been signed opposite SRK in Adi's film does resemble Sonam. "Does she? Hmmmmm ….Is that a compliment to me or to her? I had never even approached Adi for this role and I had a reason for it.I know it required someone very Punjabi and young. I've just played a full-on Punjabi kudi, salwar-kameez sharara-gharara and all, in Rakeysh Mehra's Dilli 6. Even in Saawariya I was in full elaborate Indian clothes. Now I need change of pace and grace."

In his latest blog, actor Aamir Khan talks about a certain Shahrukh licking his feet. The perfectionist star is in Panchgani, with family and kids. Aamir writes: "I’m sitting under a tree, on the edge of a valley, approximately 5000 feet above sea level. The river Krishna flows far below us snaking its way among the Sahyadri mountains. A cool breeze is blowing, jannat ki hawa (breeze from the heavens), as my mother calls it. Ammi, Ira and Junaid are by my side and we are in the middle of one of our favourite board games ‘Settlers Of Catan’. Shahrukh is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then. What more can I ask for?Now, before you jump to any conclusions let me add that Shahrukh is the name of our dog. And before you jump to any further conclusions let me add that I had nothing to do with naming him. In fact Shahrukh is the dog of the caretakers of our house. When I bought this house it came with the caretakers and their dog! Apparently Shahrukh (the actor) was shooting for a commercial in this house a few years ago, and that very day the caretakers bought a pup…, and named him Shahrukh. What are the chances of me buying a house which comes with a dog called Shahrukh!!! Some of my friends claim that I bought the house just because of the dog. I would have to be a serious fan of Shahrukh’s to want to do that. Your guess… All I can say is I’m waiting for him to come over. Getting back to Settlers of Catan, it’s a wonderful game. You must try it if you are fond of board games.”

Kajol is holding up pre production work on Karan Johar's next flick My Name Is Khan, as she has yet to sign on the dotted line. According to media reports Kajol has reportedly stated in interviews that she would only agree to star in the film once she reads the final script. However, Karan has said that his script is complete and Kajol has seen and admired it.According to sources Kajol might be delaying signing up for the role opposite actor Shah Rukh Khan because she is waiting on her husband Ajay Devgan.

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has said that he's fascinated by Lahore because the city had beautiful buildings and stunning girls. In a recent interview, the 29-year-old said that the city was not different from New Delhi. He was on a two-day visit to Lahore to launch his latest film, Jannat. The actor said Lahoris had been "very friendly with him". The 'Zeher' star was accompanied by his co-star in the film, Sonal Chauhan, and producer Mahesh Bhatt. The three film stars stressed the need for more Bollywood-Lollywood joint ventures.

A sessions court in Mumbai today acquitted Bollywood actor Navin Nischol and his brother Pravin from the charge of abetting in the suicide of Navin's wife, Geetanjali. Additional Sessions Judge B D Kamkhedkar acquitted them, saying no case was made out against the brothers. Geetanjali had committed suicide last year and had left a note blaming the brothers for her death. She had stated that Navin was undergoing financial crisis and that she was depressed because of his drinking. She also blamed Pravin for harassing her mentally. The brothers were arrested on April 28, 2007 after Geetanjali's death.
