“Mr. Sujay Kumar Verma, a resident of Winchester, MA for twenty seven years
passed away on February 6, 2008 from complications of cancer at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He was 62 years of age. For the last fifteen years or so, he courageously & bravely fought several bouts of the desease in numerous forms with the help of extremely competent physicians at the Mass General hospital and his extended family from US, India & UK. His patience and general cheerfulness to participate in a close knit small group of friends will always be remembered as an example for many of us to follow. Sujay was a native of Bihar who left India in 1966 to study at the University of Wales. He graduated 2nd in his class with a BSc Honors in Electrical Engineering. He remained in the UK until 1981 when he left for the USA after completing his MSc in Physics and Mathematics. In the USA, he continued his engineering career serving as Director of Systems Engineering at Microwave Radio Corporation and more recently as Chief Engineer for the Mitre Corporation. His work has been cited in the IEEE Journal and he recieved the Air Force's Engineer of the year award for his outstanding contributions.

He leaves behind his wife Shanti, daughter Sonya, son Sudip, son in law Navin, and grandson Neil. The family appreciates all the good wishes and condolences that the members of the community have conveyed in person, phone, or otherwise. "
