Why?........... I am supporting Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton
As an independent forever, after evaluating what is at stake for all of us and what solutions these candidates are offering, I have decided to strongly support Senator Clinton ....... for a better tomorrow in terms of Economy, Health Care, Alternate energy resources, Greener planet & Green Jobs, healthy Foreign relations all over the World, especially India. Her plan is to accomplish this by putting wisdom and experience into real actions.
Firstly, Senator Clinton cares about what I care most about as a physician “the universal health careâ€, a concept that American Medical Association has advocated for decades. She was the first politician to take a shot on it when this was a very unpopular solution for the health care mess we are in. Today, talking about universal health care has become a leading topic of the election cycle. Her current proposal will give opportunity to all to have health care. This, in long run, will save a lot of lives and health care dollars.
Second reason is the economic mess that we are in today. US economy affects economy of the entire world. She is the only candidate who has given a very detail step by step map as to what she will do to improve the economy, starting dealing with the mortgage and foreclosures crisis to creating jobs through improving infrastructure, building roads & bridges and investing in creating green jobs. Experts have said that her economic plan is even much better than President Bill Clinton. And, we all remember those days of prosperity.
Next, on my list is the energy & environment. Her energy plan encourages exploration of new technologies for clean and alternate energy resources. Less dependence on foreign oil, R&D for alternate fuel and using these new products will create green jobs and automatically save the environment and global warming
Another reason, Image of USA in the entire world, which needs a massive make- over. She is a well known figure all over the world and has already interacted with many foreign leaders. As a commander-in-chief she will not need a learning curve. Other nations will take her seriously right from very the first day. With her approach of aggressive diplomacy and negotiations USA will be able to restore its reputation in a shorter period of time.
Finally, I do care about education for our children, protecting our constitutional rights, human rights for people across the globe, women’s rights here and in the world. I have studied record of Senator Clinton on all these issues and I admire what she has done so far.
Moreover, She has shown the ability to work with people across the aisle—even Trent Lott and Lindsey Graham. She has shown how to achieve results.
I am fully confident, if elected as 44th president of United States of America, she will work harder than any other president to prove that a woman President that we needed to clean the mess we have created in past few years.
