The use of different voices for different songs in a single film has become the norm in recent years. But in Sunday the producers have created a track with no less than six music directors, each bringing his style to the song. The result is absolutely wonderful

The track opens with 'Missing Sunday' where Mahua Kamath and Suraj  come together for this wonderful music that will auto-magically make you  move your body to the rhythm. The remix brings a different rhythm. The next number ‘Pyar to Hona hai’ directed by 'Suroor’ is a melodious number.  Kamran Bari who has penned it, along with Mohammed Ali renders the song that has amazing lyrics and pleasing music. With soft guitar-strumming in the background, it is a sweet romantic track. Surprisingly remix for this romantic number is also quite nice.
The next track by Daler Mehendi is a typical masala piece . In  "Loot liya"  Daler Mehndi as the composer as well as the singer. He pairs up with Sunidhi Chauhan for this rusty and celebratory number.  Nothing unusual here but certainly a fun number.

Shibani Kashyap along with lyricist Virag Mishra compose a raunhy item number  'Kashmakash' which may not leave a lasting impression. DJ Suketu's 'remix version' is perhaps more exciting  and more apt to me heard on the dance floor.

Manzar by Raghav Sachar is perhaps one of the best tracks of the album. A fusion of Indian and Western sounds with a bit of Sufi, soft rock and jazz it has the Raghav Sachar stamp over it. The Saxophone notes adds beauty to the number which is sung by Earl Edgar, Mahua Kamath and Suraj. Lyrics by Aditya Dhar are interesting.

Amar Mohile, who has been quite successful in the background music world composes the theme song for Sunday as well. An instrumental piece, with Clint and Joy rendering the vocals, it stands out among the rest for its musical arrangements.  It is a very fast paced track  and has included Bhangara beats in an interesting way. Sure to have you humming!

Overall Sunday makes for fun listening!
