Music Director: ANAND RAAJ ANAND & RAHUL RANADE
Lyricist: PRAVEEN BHARADWAJ

Track : Vocalist(s)
Shloka: Rahul Ranade & Ravindra Sathe
Pitaah : Udit Narayan & Alka Yagnik
Nadiya Kinare Aao : Sonu Nigam & Kavita Krishnamurthy
Ram Bachaye : Anuradha Sriram
Sau Baar Janam Nahin : Sukhwinder Singh
Meri Jawani : Sunidhi Chauhan
Humko To Ishq : Kavita Krishnamurthy
Putra Pratishtha : Rahul Ranade & Ravindra Sathe

Anand Raj Anand disappoints with the utterly unoriginal and banal songs in Mahesh Manjrekar's Pitaah. From the opening Sanskrit Shloka ' Puthra Prathishta' written by Shri Desai ,composed by Rahul Ranade and chanted by Rahul Ranade and Ravindra Sathe to the pathetic 'Meri jawani' by Sunidhi Chauhaan, the music and lyrics never fail to disappoint! The backdrop in Udit Narayan's title song Pittaah is quite engaging but neither that or Udit's singing can save it from mediocrity, making it as forgettable as another song appreciating fatherhood, Sau Baar janam Nahin Milta by Sukhvinder Singh. Sonu Nigam and Kavitha Krishnamurthy please with their upbeat but tired old tune Nadiya kinare. The Mujra, making a comeback after many years ,'Humko to ishque' is again sung well by Kavitha but lacks originality or freshness. Raama bachaye by Anuradha Sreeram is pedestrian. Praveen Bharadwaj's lyrics are mundane and as one listens to this drivel , one yearns for fare that is challenging and does not insult one's intelligence as this album does.

Two Thumbs down.
