Mahalakshmi, Bhoomidevi, Saraswathi, Neeli, Meenakshi and Kamakshi are considered to be the Divine incarnation of the Female energy. Famous Bhakti poets from Jayadeva in the east to Mira in the west and Andal and Thirmangai Azhwar in the south have used "woman" as a symbol of the Atma or  the individual soul longing to unite with the Paramatama. For Subramanya Bharathi woman is the symbol of hope and joy for the future. The program is a tribute to womanhood.
