Chandu Shah, Pres./CEO of S4 Inc., Awarded SBA Minority Enterprise Development Boston District Award

This year marks the 25th year that the SBA and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency (DOC/MBDA) have partnered to cosponsor select activities during National (Minority Enterprise Development) MED Week. MED Week commemoration activities are designed to recognize outstanding owners of minority small business for their personal achievements and contributions to our nation’s economy. Since 1983, the President of the United States has designated one week in recognition of the minority small business community’s contribution to the nation’s economy. In the weeks leading up to National MED Week, SBA, in conjunction with public and private-sector organizations, participate in special events at the local and state levels to honor and present awards across the country to the nation’s minority entrepreneurs and those who champion the interests of minority small business. Many of the award winners of local and state events will be invited to Washington, D.C. for the National MED Week 2007 celebration.
