New England Shirdi Sai Parivar (NESSP) organized a samuhik (group) Satyanarayan Pooja on at the Sadhu Vaswani Center in Dracut Massachusetts. This event took place on Saturday June 30th on a full moon day (pournima) which is considered auspicious for doing the pooja. 65 families participated in this event which was solemnized by Pt. Mahesh Shelat of the ISSO Swaminarayan Temple, Lowell Massachusetts. The Pooja was interspersed with melodious bhajans sung by panditji and kids. The pooja was followed by dhoop aarti and Mahaprasad. The Mahaprasadam (dinner) was prepared by NESSP volunteers and devotees.

NESSP has been formed to bring all devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba from the New England area together to spread the message of Baba. The parivar’s vision is to spread the message of love, kindness, unity and make a meaningful contribution to the welfare of the mankind without any distinction of religion, region, race, sect or personal belief. Our mission is also to construct a Shirdi Sai Temple in the area which will be a centre for social and spiritual activities promoting Sai Baba’s message of Shraddha (Faith) and Saburi (Patience).  For more information please visit our website at www.nessp.org.
