From the producers of “Don” comes a new film  with an unusual tile.  This multi- starrer includes actors  Boman Irani, Shabana Azmi, Dia Mirza, Ranvir Shorey, Raima Sen, Kay Kay Menon, Amisha Patel, Carran Kapoor, Vikram Chatwal, Sandhya Mridul, Abhay Deol and Minnisha Lamba in lead roles. The film is based on comical honeymoon ride of six couples in the fun city of Goa.

Music direction for the film is provided by Vishal-Sekar and the lyrics have been penned by none other than Javed Akhtar himself. The film is a directional debut for Reema Kagti.   While it cannot compete with Don, the track has a lot of traction and could make a decent impact on the charts. The romantic numbers have come in time for Valentine’s day and could add a special touch to an evening with that special someone..

The album opens with Albela Albela a high energy party number featuring Shanker Mahadevan and Vishal Dadlani himself.  It is a very peppy sound track with a touch of hip hop.  There is a lot of un-understandable English words and perhaps could make a useful track for a “So you think you can dance” show number.

Now if you need to Tango with your Valentine by the table with the candlelight dinner, Sunidhi Chauhan and Gyatri Iyer’s rendition of  'Pyaar Ki Ek Kahani' could be just the thing. A lovely romantic song penned by Javed Akhtar,  has a soothing touch to it and thus would make a perfect background number.

The romance continues with Halke Halke where Neeraj Shridhar sings beautifully to the accompaniment of a guitar. Javed Akhtar lyrics are very poetic and brings out subtly the passions of a lover. The piece has the stamp of Vishal Shekar on it. For a romantic young man wishing to surprise his love with a Guitar based song as she listens from the window, this may be the very number.  The remix number is youthful peppy and fun to listen to.
Shreya Ghosal and Shaan come together in a love duet. The melodious sound track of Jaana Hai Who Yahaan  has subtle rhythmic beats. The singers , as always do a wonderful job and yet another number in your Valentine collection.

The hit number in this album is Sunidhi Chauhan and Shekhar Ravjiani getting  together for an amazing fusion number  ‘Sajanaji’ , where Indian folk is fused with western orchestration..This was  a  real fun number it had me dancing in my seat. Sunidhi does a wonderful job as usual and the lyrics are really fun.I suspect this number will hit the charts. Vishal Sekhar need to be commended for this number

Funcinternational, 'Haath Dhore Niye Chalo' brings the album to nice close. This is a fun and funky track and seems to be set in a Disco.  There are a couple of lines in Bengali is quite in the background and hence this could almost be labeled a purely instrumental track.

It is a really nice album with romantic numbers and one potential addition to hits on musical charts  in ‘Sajanji’ . May want to play it on Valentine day..For all those shadhi shudha log .. shayad honeymoon ke din yad aa jay!
