The year 2006 is coming to an end and to all of us at Lokvani it has been very satisfying in a lot of ways. We have grown in readership, strength and support from our advertisers, readers and well wishers. As we move on, we hope to retain the quality of our stories and provide the same value to our community.

This issue, we are proud of two women in New England who have attained milestones in their field - Sabita Singh and Sunita Williams. Their perseverance, courage and intellectual capacity are something that all of us can emulate and cherish. Join us as we wish them all success.
