Appeal: Saraswati Mandir In New Hampshire In Danger Of Closing Down

Press Release
12/13/2006

Saraswati Mandir in New Hampshire is more than just being a place of worship. Its 100 acre land apart from the temple contains a school, an organic farm, a health center, residential facilities and an auditorium. The place has been instrumental in preserving the best Hindu practices in forms of worship, education, medication, exercises for well-being and festivals.

The temple is in danger of closing down. A fire two years back has led to grave financial difficulties to the temple. It needs URGENT HELP, otherwise it will shut down by the end of this year. The temple is organizing an OPEN HOUSE this Sunday December 17th at 10 a.m. to let the larger Hindu community know about the trouble it is facing to look for possible solutions. Please come forward to attend, attendance doesn’t imply any commitment.  A generous couple bought the place in an auction 2 weeks back to return the place to the Hindu Community. They will be present on Sunday.

Formal worship of Ma Saraswati will be done at 11am.
