Today is Aishwarya Rai's birthday! But she is not at all b'day bash kind. "My day will start with a visit to the Siddhivinayak Temple with my family, something I do every year. There will be no loud parties…my birthday is a very private affair. Considering I have to leave for Dubai tomorrow, it will be over early too. Only family and friends will be there," informs she. Ash denies the rumors of her marriage with Abhishek in February. As they only want to concentrating on their individual careers now. On Abhishek she says, "He is a friend for sure. We get on really well. He's fantastic at what he does and deserves the acknowledgement he is getting now. And even though he never played a prank on me, I have no doubt that he is a brat."

You have guessed it right.  Shahrukh Khan celebrates his 41st birthday on November 2, 2006.  King Khan has not planned birthday bash, instead he will spend time home relaxing, Indian newspapers reported. He then intends to ‘catch up on some movies at home. I will workout and spend the rest of the evening fixing a few things at home,` Khan told The Times of India newspaper. “ Since I`m fond of reading, I will also spend time reading.”

The news that Ram Gopal Varma is collaborating with Pritish Nandy Productions for a tantalizing film called Sex Haazir Ho! has the nation's academics and perverts agog. But Ramu isn't buying the cheesy theory. "I am not making a sex film. Agreed sex sells. But as you've rightly pointed out, I'm extremely reluctant to enter bedrooms in my cinema. In fact Sex Haazir Ho1 enters the courtroom, and not the bedroom. It's going to be an intensely dramatic film where sexual desire as a feeling by itself becomes an accused party in the courtroom."

Shooting in South Africa could be loads of fun. "The country is so breathtakingly beautiful, filled with natural beauty…But my heart is just not in it," sighs Kangana. She's shooting for Suneel Darshan's Shaka Laka Boom Boom. "We're doing a song. And it's like a party. We shot it in a goldmine. Upen is great fun. And my God, he talks so much! Before he completes one topic he runs on to the next. But I want to return home. My sister Rangoli is in the hospital. Of course my parents are there too look after her. But without me they're a little lost in Mumbai."

Megastar Rajnikanth became a proud grandfather when his daughter Aishwarya gave birth to a baby boy on October 10. Now, the baby's name has not been finalized yet. But there's a lot of curiosity factor in Tamil Nadu, with radio stations holding contests to suggest names for the infant.

Amrita Arora who was a resident of Andheri had now moved to Bandra. "It's a dream house. And my parents have shifted with me. Everyone dreams of owning a house that would be just perfect. I've reached that dream, I guess." With the shift of residence she's now a stone's away from her sister Malaika. "So we are all at a shouting distance from one another," Amrita shouts from Prague. She's extremely excited about having signed on a remake of the 1973 hit Victoria 203 where she gets to play Saira Banu's role. "I'm very excited because a lot of people feel I resemble Saira Banuji. In half the film I get to masquerade as a man. And yes I'll be doing Sairaji's sizzling towel dance in Victoria 203," laughs Amrita.

Is there no end to Amitabh Bachchan's zest for life and work? Barely weeks after his 64 th birthday the Big B continues to stun friends, admirers and well-wishers with his gusto and energy level. On Tuesday he shocked the entire unit of Apoorva Lakhia's Shoot-Out At Lohkandwala by completing 23 scenes in 5 hours….an unheard-of feat in any part of the world.  Reveals Lakhia, "In one word, we were speechless. In fact the other cast members got tired. But Amitji just went on almost uninterrupted. I asked Arbaaz Khan to take a break. But watching Amitji he was totally enthused into pushing himself beyond his limits.  That's the kind of impact Amitji has on the entire unit. When you see this 64-year old wizard out-doing everyone's energy level you kind of pull up your socks and go for it."  Tell the Big B that 23 scenes in five hours is a world record, and he brushes off the compliment in his usual self-deprecating way. "It's nothing. It's just work. And it's for a friend Apoorva Lakhia whom both Abhishek and I are very fond of."
