IDCA Sponsors Fourth International Conference On India Development

IDCA Invites you to  Fourth International Conference on India Development, which is scheduled for Oct. 14-15, 2006. Distinguished Keynote speakers include:

Dr. B. K. Agnihotri, former Ambassador-at-Large, and Chancellor, Southern Law Center, Louisiana
Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, 2006, Magsaysay Award Winner, president of Parivarten, New Delhi, India
Professor Kamal Bawa, Founder president of Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and Environment, Boston, and
Dr. Abraham George, Founder president of the George Foundation, NJ, and author of India Untouched.

This conference will focus on the following objectives:
1. To promote networking amongst NPOs who are engaged in development work in India
2. To learn from the innovative projects supported by the NPOs and to promote similar work in other parts of the country
3. To inform, inspire, and involve NRIs/PIOs in development of India
4. To develop an action plan to identify and implement projects in each of the basic areas of needs in various parts of the country

IDCA evolved from a conference of several NGOs held in Chicago in 2003. It was incorporated as not-for-profit Corporation in Illinois in 2004. Mission of IDCA is to empower NPOs/NGOs by fostering collaboration, cooperation, and networking to Accelerate sustainable development in India. It is a 501 ( c ) (3) Not-for-profit Illinois Corporation. It is membership organization of NPOS/NGOs, individuals, and other organizations. It organizes seminars and conferences in US, and India several times a year to help learning and networking. Most recently we had a seminar on Healthcare in India held in Oak Brook.
