The bubbly image is long gone. Preity Zinta, once known for dimples is now a big girl, thanks to the films like Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. But the same film has landed her in a fresh trouble.  No doubt she looks fantastic in the film but according to critics she looks too old for her role.  One can notice the flawed area around Preity’s eyes and some gossipmongers allege thats it is the bruise she received after her recent eye-lift. Her buddy Karan Johar was unable to delay the film and hence she had to shoot for her role in the film before she had fully recovered from her eye-lift surgery. But Preity has learnt to live with such allegations.

After Devdas and Don, and a failed attempt with Deewar, Shahrukh Khan is all set to cash in on another old blockbuster, Subhash Ghai’s Karz. Farah Khan will direct the movie. Farah earlier had directed SRK in Main Hoon Na.  Shahrukh will play the role essayed by Rishi Kapoor in the new ‘Karz.’ It’s interesting to see who will score the music for the film this time. Laxmikant-Pyarelal’s classical musical creation for the movie along with the mesmerizing signature tune of Karz will always be alive in the music world.

Actor turned Lok Sabha MP Vinod Khanna and Suresh Oberoi will play pivotal roles in "Chhoti Si Duniya" to be shot extensively in Jammu and Kashmir as well as Himachal Pradesh. The film is being produced by Raahul S Anand, younger brother of noted filmmaker late Mukul S Anand. It will introduce one leading hero and two leading ladies and aims to bring back the Shammi Kapoor era of romantic love stories, which were shot in the picturesque Kashmir valley, Raahul said here on Tuesday.

Actress Sameera Reddy, who has played a glam girl in "No Entry or "Taxi No. 9211", has done many a stunt in "Naksha" in the role of a TV journalist. "It was exciting doing the stunts. There was a stunt where three of us had to jump from the Mahabaleshwar plateau. It was a drop of 100 feet into nothing. I was very scared. But Viveik (Oberoi) said, 'look I'm right here beside you and I assure nothing would happen.' And that gave me the courage.  "In 'Musafir' too I had done all my stunts. But in this film it was different. It had kind of real action. But thanks to Allen Amin, the action director, I felt safe."

Aamir Khan may have to revisit the border district of Kutch in Gujarat, this time not for shooting but to answer the state forest department in connection with the 'illegal' filming of a chinkara deer in the film "Lagaan". Aamir allegedly used a chinkara for shooting the movie in 2000 in Jam Kunaria village in Kutch, 375 km from here. According to a forest official, Aamir had asked for permission to shoot the animal, but the request was turned down. Still, when the film was exhibited, there was a shot of a chinkara. The forest department had earlier reportedly carried some preliminary investigation and the matter was closed.  But the case reopened when an environment group, Gir Youth Nature Club, registered a complained in July this year, just after the state criminal investigation department was asked to re-investigate poaching charges levelled against another Bollywood star Salman Khan, eight years ago during the shooting of the film "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam".

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan is slated to act in a movie about an old, married couple rediscovering love at the age of sixty.  The sexagenarian Bollywood star has given his nod to filmmaker Shoojit Sircar’s next project titled Johnny Walker . Shoojit made his directorial debut last year with the critically acclaimed movie Yahaan .  The story of ‘Johnny Walker’ will trace a man’s life from adolescence to old age. It will talk of his 25 years of marriage with his wife. It will also explore the couple’s rediscovering of love in their later years.

Besides acting, Akshaye Khanna does seem to have a talent for singing. Reports have it that Akshaye has lent his vocal chords for movie Aap Ki Khatir . The film is a romantic comedy in which Akshaye is paired opposite Priyanka Chopra .  Akshaye recently recorded a 'Nazm' which happens to be the title track of the movie. The couplet sung by Akshaye has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya and written by Sameer.
