Nandita Das’s personal life seems to be on the rocks! The actress recently split with her husband, Soumya Sen. Sen is an ad man and the couple had tied the knot in a quiet ceremony a few years ago. Unfortunately things didn’t work out between the two and they decided to part ways. This was Nandita’s second marriage.

A day before the release of ‘Omkara’, a special screening of the movie was held at the Yash Raj studios. The movie’s actress Kareena Kapoor played the perfect host to the guests that included Shah Rukh Khan , his wife Gauri, Aamir Khan , his wife Kiran, Karan Johar , Mani Ratnam , Farhan Akhtar , Priyanka Chopra , Arbaaz Khan , Malaika Arora , Amrita Arora , Konkana Sen , Shahid Kapur and Pankaj Kapur .
The movie’s main stars Ajay Devgan , Saif Ali Khan and Vivek Oberoi could not make it to the screening. The gathering watched the movie in pin-drop silence and gave a standing ovation after the screening. Mani Ratnam complimented Vishal Bhardwaj for making an excellent film. Aamir and Shah Rukh stayed glued to their seats until the end credits had rolled. Kareena, who was nervous during the evening, received many compliments. Shah Rukh had a word of praise for Konkana Sen. But it was Saif Ali Khan who impressed everyone with his superb performance.

Sushmita has been putting her life on paper for an autobiography she plans to title ‘The Butterfly’. The title of the book is very apt because a butterfly goes through different stages of transformation – from an egg to a caterpillar to a chrysalis and finally to a butterfly. According to Sush, the book will bring to light some of her truths that have never been written about in media reports. The actress claims that some revelations might shock the readers. Sush is also said to have written openly in the book about her romantic life and the men with whom she has had relationships. But Sush is wary of revealing names in the book because it might “jeopardize the lives of others at the cost of being honest,” she says.“My book will be an honest account of my life…I’m sure readers will sit up on reading the book…I want to show them a different side of myself,” she adds.
Apart from Sush, Shah Rukh Khan too has been writing his autobiography.

Sonu Nigam made a announcement amidst his birthday bash only to calm people. He announce he was going to retire from singing. He reasoned that, when he entered the industry, the only thing he had in mind was to earn fame as a playback singer. And by God's grace he earned all that he wished for. Now he has a dream to work on his hobbies for practicing horticulture/agriculture by owning his own farmhouse.

Hrithik Roshan misses his 3-month-old son so much while filming away from India that he plans to take him to the location where he shoots next time. The Bollywood actor is due back in Mumbai later this month after weeks away filming the action movie Dhoom2 in Swakopmund in Namibia and Durban in South Africa. "He (Rayhaan) is undoubtedly the most important thing in my life," Hrithik said.  "I have come to understand that fatherhood is probably the best thing that has happened to me," he said adding, "A smile from Rayhaan every morning gives me energy to work hard."

On Raksha Bandhan, Hritik, never lets his sister Sunaina (she is two years older) off without her reciting the special lines, a ritual that has been followed in our family for generations:
Barah mahina chavi pakh, Tujhe Raja Ramchandraji ki rakh.
On this auspicious day, my sister, my uncles and aunts and their children assemble at our house. There is a lot of family bonding. The thali is decorated with flowers, pots of kumkum, rice grains, mithai and rakhis. The diya is lit, and rituals adhered to. Earlier, I would gift Sunaina Rs 200 because that is what I could afford then. Now, I have increased it to Rs 1,000 because I think I can afford to give her this amount for the rest of my life.  Aamir’s  elder sister Nikhat, younger sister Farhat, younger brother Faisal and I have been extremely close to each other since childhood. For Raksha Bandhan, my sisters decorate a thali with flowers, a diya, kumkum, rice and a simple rakhi. As a child, I would borrow money from my mother and give my sisters Rs 10 each. Now I give them Rs 100 each and buy them whatever they want. Since Farhat is based in New York, she sends the rakhi to Nikhat who ties her rakhi to Faisal and me.

If the gossipmongers to be believed, the relationship between Bollywood actress Tabu and South Superstar Nagarjuna has been rekindled. As per rumors, the loving duo is presently living-in together. A source said, Tabu, who born and brought-up in Hyderabad, whenever comes down to her hometown, stays with Nagarjuna. During her last trip she apparently spent an entire week with him. Nagarjuna, on his part denied the rumor. He said, “Tabu is a great friend and Amala (His wife) likes her too.” A common friend also dismissed the buzz. “Not only Nagarjuna’s wife Amala, his children also like Tabu very much. If Nagarjuna and Tabu had an affair then Amala and Tabu wouldn’t get along so well.” “Smoke brewing without fire,” the friend claimed.
