ATFS Honors Outstanding Students

Aadhaarshila - The Foundation Stone well known as ATFS Learning Center recognized the accomplishments of its students in a tastefully done prize distribution ceremony held at the school on June 3rd.  Ranjani Saigal was the Chief Guest of this prize distribution ceremony.

The Director, Gauri Chandna congratulated the parents, teachers and students for their efforts that made the 2005-2006 school-year a success. She reported that students of ATFS had made great strides in academic and have performed exceptionally well in their own schools grabbing a lot of awards.

Cash prizes, trophies and certificates were presented to the students in recognition of their accomplishments. Children were rewarded for their performance in Math, Sciences and English curriculums. In addition, 2006 Math and Vocabulary contest winners were awarded trophies, medals and gift certificates. Students who received awards were (in alphabetical order):Abhinav Venigalla, Abishek Volety, Aditya Puttigampala, Aneesh Anand, Aniket Lachyankar, Anisha Dam, Ansh C. Jetly, Bikram Sandhu, Catherine Zhang, Charan Sankaran, Divya Koduri, Giridhar Anand, Hermish Mehta, Ishitha Rajan, Jyotsna Karamdas, Kaushik Maddipatti, Manya Sankaran, Mayank Dubey, Mihir Shah, Naren Inukoti, Neha Sharma, Nikita Roy, Nimisha Patil, Nina Nadkarni, Nisha Nadkarni, Prateek Hegde, Rahul Razdan, Rajeev Chorghade, Ramya Ravindrababu, Rewanth Chandrapu, Riya Shah, Rohit Rajiv, Sajani Shah, Santosh Inukoti, Sumedha Mitra, Supreetha Gubbala, and Vincenzo Simmarano.
A wonderful cultural program served as a prelude to the prize distribution event. Children dressed in colorful costumes presented their talent.  Featured performances included folk dances, Karate, Yoga, songs, poem recitals and instrumental music.

“I am very impressed with the work done at ATFS” said Ranjani Saigal. “I talked to the students and they all seem to agree that attending ATFS was a lot of fun. They told me that the training they received helped them excel at school” said Saigal. Saigal applauded the hard work of teachers, parents and students for creating a learning environment at ATFS that instills best practices and an urge to succeed. In all, it was an exhilarating evening celebrating the success of the past year and laying the foundation for another effective year.

ATFS Learning Center is an academic institute providing various services like after school learning, take out programs and tutoring. Students of all age groups are benefiting from these programs and are successfully fulfilling their goals. Individual, personalized, custom tailored programs for each child have helped achieve success in SAT, MCAS, SSAT, school grades, head starts, constructive thinking, Math abilities and innumerable other areas in the past year. ATFS Learning Center has re-located its operations to a brand new facility in Shrewsbury this academic year and has since then provided services to over 150 students.
