Savy Media Presents 'Yaadein' And 'Abhi To Main Jawan Hoon'

Savy Media, the company that brings wholesome entertainment to New England concert lovers is coming up with two new events that will delight a whole lot of fans. On June 2nd, 2006 at 7.30pm it will present 'Yaadein" a program of comedy, dance and music and songs from playback singer Shabbir Kumar of Bollywood. It will also feature an orchestra by Minesh Patel from India beside performance from other artists.. Book your tickets to be  part of this wonderful evening.

Shabbir Kumar is a famous Bollywood singer, who made his name in the 80s. He gave hit songs in films like Betaab, Mr. India, and Ghayal. He began a stage show ‘Ek Shaam Rafi Ke Naam’, which was a success. He claims that when he attended Rafi’s funeral in 1980, his pen fell into Rafi’s open grave. Shabbir interpreted it as a divine message that he was to be his successor. Shabbir had an array of hits to follow like’ Duniya Ki Aisi Ki Taisi’ (Ilzaam), ‘Saajan Aa Jao’ (Aag Hi Aag) and ‘Bandhan Toote Na’ (Paap Ki Duniya) under Bappi Lahiri, ‘Naam Khuda Ka Le Zaraa’ (Sohni Mahiwal), ‘Sun Rubiya’ (Mard) and ‘Apna Jeevan’ (Love Marriage) under Anu Malik, ‘Tun Yaad Na Aaya Karo’ (Jeene Nahin Doonga), ‘Jeet Jayenge Hum’ (Meri Jung), ‘Pyar Kiya hai’ (Pyar Kiya Hai Pyar Karenge), ‘Baharon Se Rangeeniyon ko Churaake’ (Naseeb Ana Apna and his coup de grace in popularity under Laxmikant – Pyarelal: Pyar Jhukta Nahin.


Savy Media also will bring on July 29th,2006 a play "Abhi to Main Jawan Hoon' at the Billerica Memorial High school starring Padmini Kolhapure along with Nitin Jagdissh as the director and music director Sanjeev Rana.
