The big break up news in Bollywood is that Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have parted ways.  The planets have been blamed for the split. Aishwarya Rai is a ‘manglik(influence of the planet Mars) which the Bachchan’s fear may bring bad luck to Abhishek. However some in the industry feel that the alleged split is a fictitious end to the relationship that never existed. They believe it as a publicity stunt. Aishwarya and Abhishek are currently working together in ‘Dhoom 2′ , ‘Umrao Jaan’ and ‘Guru’.

After working with Mallika in "Darna Zaroori Hai" it seems Anil Kapoor has taken a shine to her. "She's hard working, focused and fun to work with. I love her guts and her honesty "says Kapoor. Looks like Anil will have lots more opportunities to get to know Mallika better in the film directed by Abbas-Mustan being produced by Tips. It will be shot in Australia in one schedule from September to November.

Bipasha Basu is planning to cut off her beautiful tresses for a movie role.  In the film which is yet untitled she is cast along side Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgun. Bipasha will be seen in a bob haircut, with her tresses not reaching below her neck. A media report quotes Bipasha as saying: “I want to get bald once in my lifetime — when I get pregnant. If I am bald, my stomach and baldness will balance each other and emphasize my cuteness!”

Da Vinci Code seems to be stirring controversy in India. Muslim groups along with Christian groups have been upset with Sharmila Tagore and the censor board for clearing the film and are calling for a ban on the film. "In the Holy Koran it is written clearly that Jesus is one of our prophets. The film Da Vinci Code says Jesus was a married man. That is blasphemous," says Maulana Mansoor Ali Khan, general secretary, All India Sunni Jamat-Ul-Ulema.

Can the King Khan do justice to the role of ‘DON’ that was one of  Amitabh Bachchan’s superhit  performances?
