The India Conference at Harvard Business School on March 12 will feature Amartya Sen, Arun Shourie, Shashi Ruia and panels on Rural Markets, Media and Entertainment, Real Estate and much more. 

The India Conference at Harvard Business School on Sunday March 12, 2006 will feature three keynote talks by Amartya Sen (Nobel Laureate in Economics), Arun Shourie (India’s First Privatization Minister and current Member of Parliament) and Shashi Ruia (Forbes Billionaire and Chairman, Essar Group). In addition, there will be 8 panel discussions dealing with:

The objectives of the conference are: 

1) Showcase India’s global impact and demonstrate the opportunities and challenges of investing and doing business in the country.

2) Create relationships between students, faculty and alumni across Harvard University; prominent business and community leaders and conference attendees.

3) Put ‘India’ strongly on mental map of business students and young entrepreneurs and give a directional blueprint to conference attendees to invest; launch a business; outsource from or engage deeply in any form with India.
