The condition of Amitabh Bachchan, who underwent an operation for intestinal problem at Leelavati Hospital in Mumbai, has improved and he is responding to treatment, according to Samajwadi Party leader and Bachchan's close friend, Amar Singh. The 63-year-old actor underwent various tests this week and was found to be "suffering from inflammation in the colon or the large intestine", hospital spokesperson Narendra Trivedi said. Hundreds of fans of mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday held a mahayagna praying for the fast recovery.

Kajol is back to bollywood shooting for Fanah co-starring  Aamir Khan. She says she has comeback for the love of acting. But her family – husband Ajay Devgan and her daughter – are still her priority. An interview on MusicIndiaOnline quotes Kajol as saying: “I’m back again to films for I love acting and can’t stay away from it...But I’m not going to opt acting as my full time career like before. I’ll just do a movie in a year. I would like to devote more time to my family.

Gorgeous Katrina Kaif will be the heroine of a movie that will be acting with the three Deols – Dharmendra , Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Although it is still not clear with whom Katrina is cast in the movie, Bobby seems like the ideal co-star for her out of the three Deols. The talk of Sushmita Sen having given smooching scenes with her co-star in the movie Chingari has turned out to be a rumor. The recent rumor to have hit the town is that Sush has some hot smooching scenes with Anuj Sawhney, her co-star, in Kalpana Lazmi’s film Chingari. Sushmita plays a prostitute in the film and Sawhney plays a postman. Both Sushmita and Lazmi have denied any such smooching scenes in the film. In fact, Sushmita is believed to be upset by these rumours and has even talked with the movie’s producer to make sure no wrong things are said about her role in Chingari and that the movie shouldn’t be promoted as some skin flick.

Actress Sameera Reddy was left stranded with no accommodation when she recently visited Goa for the screening of her film Kaalpurush at the ongoing International Film Festival of India. Left room-less and without any clue as to where to go, Sameera expressed her displeasure to the festival officials. Amid all the hullabaloo of the fest, the organizers somehow managed to find a room for her at the Goa Marriott.
