Grand Diwali Ball 2005 was organized by the Sindhi Association of New England  (SANE; www.saneus,org) and was held at the Natick Crowne Plaza on October 29, 2005. SANE Diwali event had come to become one of the most popular Diwali celebrations, a true blend of entertainment and elegance. Over 200 people attended this year's celebration.

As every year, the cultural performance by the kids was the highlight of the show. The program started with a melodious song as a tribute to the festival of lights and then got electric with the "Just Chill Chill" performance. The audience was on its feet for most of the show and was kept entertained for over an hour by some splendid performances on the tunes of "Dus Bahaane", "Salaam Namaste" and a lot more.

The cultural program program was followed by an open dance floor which was swarmed by people waiting to rock the place.  An elegant sit down dinner and raffle drawings provided the only break as people continued to dance under the colorful lights till midnight. Mithaai was distributed as people celebrated Diwali and shared greetings and best wishes with each other.

The Grand Diwali Ball 2005 truly lived up to its name, yet again.
