Math Foundations Contest was conducted by ATFS Learning Center in Shrewsbury on April 30th, 2005. 52 contestants participated in 5 different levels for Math. Children did not have to be enrolled in ATFS to participate in the contest. It was open to all.

The winners of the contest were as follows:

3rd Place - Sarik Goyal – Grade KG from Worcester

1st Place - Abhinav Venigalla – Grade 2 from Southborough
2nd Place - Sonali Razdan – Grade 2 from Westborough
3rd Place - Abhishek Shivkumar – Grade 3 from Marlborough

1st Place - Aneesh Anand – Grade 4 from West Newton
2nd Place - Sneha Subramaniam – Grade 5 from Westborough
3rd Place - Mayank Dubey – Grade 5 from Nashua - NH

Level 3
1st Place - Rishikesh Rachavelpula – Grade 6 from Shrewsbury
2nd Place - Rajeev Chorgade – Grade 7 from Natick
3rd Place - Neha Sharma – Grade 8 from Somerville

The contest was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony of ATFS Learning Center. Dr. Anil Saigal, Chair of Mechanical Engineering, Tufts University presided over the function and gave out the prizes.
 
ATFS plans to conduct Math Foundation Contest each year combined with their Prize distribution ceremony in April. They will also be introducing a Science Foundations Contest this October which will take place the same day as their semi – annual prize distribution ceremony for the current semester.
