On the theme of Mother’s Day, our young and lovely star Esha Deol writes an open letter to her mom, HemaMalini. Esha writes, “For the world you are the unforgettable Dream Girl but for me you are the Dream Mom. You’re not just my mother; you’re a friend and a father and a confidante, all in one. I admire your strength and from that strength, I draw mine; from your values I learn mine”. Now, that’s one real sweet expression of love. Good job Esha.

 

Lara Dutta is not going to do akin-show anymore. The former Miss Universe thinks that skin thing is no longer in but out. In an interview with Indiatimes, Lasa said that she won’t wear bikini in films any more. Lara also thinks that being intelligent is a disadvantage in Bollywood, as sometimes you just need to go with the flow. Lara thinks working in film Insan  was  a big mistake. Well, seems Ms Dutta is one girl who has learned from her mistakes.


Ok guys, its official, one of the most eligible bachelors on India, Fardeen Khan, is getting engaged  to his London-based girlfriend Natasha Madhvani, daughter of former actress Mumtaz. The ceremony will be held at a posh London venue with a select group of 50 to 60 family members and friends in attendance. A few months ago, there were strong rumours of Fardeen and Natasha planning to tie the knot early next year.

  

John Abraham is in high spirits, the man has bought a new home smacked right in the middle of homes of Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan. The hot male star is busy like hell and plans to marry his heartthrob Bipasha Basu but both of them are extremely busy so marriage plans are on hold. John is quite disappointed as he didn’t get the role in Dhoom2, while Bips was drafted in the film. Well, his loss is Bipasha’s gain, so everyone should be happy.

So, what is new in Bollywood, how about Mallika Sherawat hiring two big bouncers to protect her? The bikini babe has hired Thakur and Sawant, two beefy muscle men to provide full security for her. After the success of Murder, Mallika get mobbed no matter where she goes and at times she felt terrified, so hopefully Thakur and Sawant duo will provide some peace of mind to this hot bod.

After making superhit films and hosting some of the biggest celebrities, Karan Johar is ready to hit the big screen himself. Karan is going to make a guest appearance in Sujoy Ghosh’s next film ‘Home Delivery’. The film has big star line up of Vivek Oberai, Ayesha Takia, and Mahima Chaudhary. Lets see how young Karan does on the big screen after winning the small tube.

Do you remember Amitabh’s superhit film Don, starring Parveen Babi? It seems Farhan Akhtar is all set to make Don2, the new avatar of Don featuring Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra. How about that famous song, Khaike Paan Banares Wala, well, it seems something never change and this time SRK will be chewing on banaresi paan, so keep an eye for Don2!

 

Divya Dutta is a star who loves working for films with a purpose and this time she is starring in a film based on the lives of eunuch, ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’. The film depicts the life of the third sex and their hopes and aspiration to live a good life. India has a large eunuch population but they have never been acknowledged by the society. ‘Twinkle Twinkle ‘ is based on the real life story of a girl who was neither a boy or a girl and after her marriage she suffered tragedy after tragedy. This will be one bold film to keep our eye on.

 

Are you waiting for Hrithik Roshan’s next film Krissh, well the film is rumored to be one real action packed film. Hrithik and Priyanka recently made 30 foot jump for one of the action sequence. The shooting for the film is taking place in Manali and Mumbai, with an enormous circus having been constructed at Kaalia Maidan in Mumbai. 

 

Actress Nandita Das will be on the jury for this year’s Cannes Film Festival and thus will become fifth Indian to serve on the jury for Cannes. Mrinal Sen, Mira Nair, Arundhati Roy and Aishwarya Rai are the select few who have represented India in the past. Nandita says that he decision to work in selected films has been right one and Cannes has recognized her work. Good luck to Mr. Das and we can count on more substantive films from here in future.
