Shooting for the Hollywood film, Marigold, starring Salman Khan, is said to start around mid March. Directed by Willard Caroll, Marigold is the story of an American actress who is stranded in India without any means to get back home, who meets and falls in love with an Indian. The film will be shot in Mumbai, Rajasthan and Goa.

Shah Rukh Khan is spending all his time on his home production ‘Paheli.’Slated as a June release, the Amol Palekar directed film will star SRK himself, Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukherji and Juhi Chawla.

The producer of  "Chand Bujh Gaya", a film based on communal violence in Gujarat in 2002, is alleging that the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr. Narendra Modi  has "directed" the film distributors not to release the film in his state as "it maligns his public image".
Film producer Faaiz Anwar told media persons that film distributors in Gujarat have refused to release the film in the state under "political pressure" from Modi.

Mana Shetty, wife of actor Sunil Shetty, was recently admitted to Willingdon Hospital for back surgery. Sunil, who was shooting in Dubai when he got the news, flew back to Mumbai to hold his ailing wife’s hand. The diagnosis was grim, a spinal cord bone had shifted and jammed a nerve in Mana's back. Mana will be operated on in London at the same hospital where SRK had recuperated not so long ago. Here’s wishing Mana Shetty a speedy recovery.

'Soul Mate At Any Rate’, Vinita Nanda' next film will most likely have the ‘White Noise’ couple Rahul Bose and Koel Purie in it. Soul Mate will have some sizzling scenes as it is a ‘light hearted film,’ said Nanda.
