The New England Hindu Temple and Heritage Institute (NEHTI), at Sri Lakshmi Temple, brought the Navaratri festivities to a joyful close on Oct 30,  with a lively Garba and Dandiya Night, filled with music, dance, and community spirit.

The celebration brought together people of all ages, transforming the evening into a vibrant celebration of tradition and togetherness. Attendees were welcomed with Dandiya sticks and invited to join the festivities as popular Garba music filled the air.

With Ram Kush at the DJ console, the dance floor came alive with energetic beats and familiar Garba favorites. Young and old alike enthusiastically joined the circular Garba dances and rhythmic Dandiya, keeping the festive energy going throughout the evening.

The celebration was a wonderful culmination of Navaratri, a festival that honors the Divine Mother and celebrates the triumph of good over evil. Beyond the music and dance, the evening offered an opportunity for families and friends to come together, enjoy cherished traditions, and strengthen community bonds.

NEHTI's Garba and Dandiya Night was a fitting finale to the Navaratri celebrations, leaving participants with wonderful memories of an evening filled with devotion, joy, and cultural camaraderie.
