Ode to Lord Ganesha

Before the dawn adorns the sky
Before the birds begin to fly
We bow to You with hearts so free
O Lord of boundless harmony

O Elephant-faced, compassionate One
Brighter than the morning sun
With gentle eyes that softly gleam
You bless each hope, each cherished dream

Your mighty trunk teaches strength with grace
To stand with courage in every place
Your listening ears, so broad and kind
Inspire us to hear with an open mind

One tusk speaks of sacrifice rare
To give for truth with humble prayer
Your ample form reminds us all
To rise with faith when shadows fall

Upon the tiny mouse You ride
Teaching that pride must never guide
The restless mind, when ruled by Thee
Finds wisdom, peace, and purity

O Lord of Siddhi and Buddhi Devis
Dispel our darkness with Your light
Remove the stones upon our way
And fill our hearts with hope each day

Where Your sacred footsteps tread
Fear and sorrow swiftly fade away
Homes are filled with joy anew
Blessed forever, Lord, by You

Accept our flowers, fruits, and songs
In Your embrace we all belong
Grant us knowledge, strength, and cheer
To walk with Dharma year by year

As lamps of faith begin to glow
May love in every heart grow
May every home and every land
Be guided by Your gentle wisdom

O Vighnaharta, hear our plea
Bless every soul and family
With folded hands we humbly say

O Lord Ganesha, remover of every pain
Come into our hearts like gentle rain
With Your elephant head, wise and bright
Fill our darkened paths with sacred light

Before every journey, we call Your name
Before every prayer, we light Your flame
Where there is doubt, You give us faith
Where there is fear, You give us strength

Vakratunda Mahakaya, Lord Divine
May Your blessings upon our lives shine
With Your trunk You clear every way
And guide our steps through night and day

You sit so peacefully, holding Your grace
With compassion and love upon Your face
Your little mouse waits faithfully near You
Teaching us humility, keeping our hearts sincere

Give us wisdom to know what is right
Courage to walk through the darkest night
Give us patience when dreams take time,
And a heart that remains loving and kind

O Gajanana, beloved son of Lord Shiva
May Your blessings make our spirits stronger
Remove the obstacles we cannot see
And awaken the best within me

Bless every home with peace and cheer
Bless every heart with love sincere
Bless our children, elders, near and far
And guide them gently like a shining star

Let not success make us feel proud
Nor difficulties make us bow down
Teach us to work, to pray, to give
And walk with dharma as long as we live
