Greater Boston to Welcome Anupam Kher and Swaroop Sampat in Jaane Pehchaane Anjane

Jay-Ho! and Dhoom Entertainment jointly present the Hindi musical comedy-drama at the Collins Center on October 11

Two-time National Film Award recipient Anupam Kher and acclaimed actor Swaroop Sampat will bring the Hindi musical comedy-drama Jaane Pehchaane Anjane to Greater Boston on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the Collins Center for the Performing Arts in Andover, Massachusetts.

Jointly presented by Dhoom Entertainment and Jay-Ho!, the Boston engagement forms part of the production's 2026 North American tour across the United States and Canada.

Anupam Kher has shared his excitement about celebrating the grand finale of the North American tour in Boston. Chosen as the city for this special closing performance, Boston will experience the production at its most celebratory—bringing together the full cast, the emotion of the journey and the electric energy of a meaningful final performance on October 11.

The cast has already begun connecting personally with local audiences. In a special video message addressed to "Boston walas," Swaroop Sampat and Meghna Malik warmly invited the community to join them at the Collins Center, adding a personal note to the anticipation surrounding the performance.

Produced by Anupam Kher Studio, Jaane Pehchaane Anjane is written and directed by National Award-winning filmmaker, playwright and screenwriter Gajendra Ahire, with music by celebrated composer Anu Malik and lyrics by acclaimed lyricist Kausar Munir.

Set in a contemporary middle-class neighborhood, the Hindi musical comedy-drama explores companionship, aging, separation, self-discovery and the human desire to matter in one another's lives.

Joining Anupam Kher and Swaroop Sampat is an ensemble cast featuring Meghna Malik, Maya Sharma, Vikas Rawat, Shraddha Mandale and Herman De Souza. The creative team includes Chirag Aggarwal for choreography, Lehan Devadhia Tibrewal for costumes, Nitin Nerurkar for set design and Artarena Creations for production management. The musical score features voices including Shaan, Sukhwinder Singh, Anandi Joshi and Anupam Kher.
