Kumu Gupta becomes a Guinness World Record Holder, Again !
Miss Kumu Gupta is a new Guinness World Record Holder for an attempt by Ministry of Ayush, Government of India , " Largest Viewership of a YouTube Live Yoga Stream" , in celebration of 12th U.N. International Day of Yoga 2026.
Miss Gupta took part in a week long session of Live online yoga sessions on YouTube from India, leading up to the June 14th Guinness attempt. Kumu started yoga in 8th grade in school doing Shirshasan (standing upside down on the head against the wall).
Kumu was member of President's Challenge Program of the President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition ( under President Obama) 5 years and recipient of the Council's Community Leadership Award for helping Americans live long healthy lives. Kumu was an invited participant for U.N.'s 1st International Day of Yoga , established due to PM Modi's proposal and efforts.
This is Kumu's 2nd Guinness World Record, 1st one being April 2025 by Microsoft for an online AI course.
