Sri Lakshmi Temple cordially invites all devotees to join us for a Grand Aani Thirumanjanam celebration honoring Lord Shiva over three sacred days, June 19–21, 2026.

Aani Thirumanjanam is one of the most revered festivals dedicated to Lord Nataraja, the cosmic dancer. Observed during the Tamil month of Aani, it marks one of the six special Abhishekams performed for Nataraja each year, when the Lord's Ananda Tandava (the dance of bliss) is celebrated with a grand sacred bath. On this auspicious day, devotees believe that worshipping Nataraja's divine form bestows liberation, prosperity, and the dissolution of all afflictions. The rhythm of His dance is said to sustain the very pulse of the universe, and to witness His Thirumanjanam is to receive His boundless grace.

Over the three days, the celebration unfolds through Ganapathy Homam, Kaala Poojas, Maharudra Homam, Mahanyasam, and the sacred Jalabhishekam to the Sahasralingam by devotees. The festivities culminate on Sunday, June 21, with the majestic Golden Ratham carrying Lord Nataraja through our temple grounds, 108 dancers moving as one in His praise, and a joyful Ice Cream Social for all.
