A Mother Beyond Time

You left so early, yet you stay with me
In my morning prayers as a soft light
In silent rooms where shadows fall
and I still can hear your gentle call

No hands to hold, no voice to hear
Yet your presence feels so near
In every tear that gently streams
You walk in gently inside my dreams

The Diya glows when night is deep
As if your love still wakes me up from sleep
The incense spreads around, calm and slow
Like blessings of my mother around me

You have gone beyond the sky and stars
But still I feel you are here near me
For love like yours, so pure, so true
I am grateful and live on to cherish it

O Mother, in heaven’s endless light
Guide my soul through darkest night
Though earth may keep your form no more
Your love still opens every door every step
